Last October we went on a New England road trip and I have already talked a little about it. First, I shared 20 Great Places to Take Pictures in New England during fall and later my 6 Great Things to do in Boston . Today I would like to talk about Jigger's Dinerin East Greenwich, Rhode Island - a great stop for breakfast on a New England road trip!
On the third day of the trip we left Stoughton where we slept at the very good Hampton Inn & Suites Boston/Stoughton to avoid Boston prices and headed south to visit Connecticut. Our first stop was Jigger's Diner in East Greenwich, Rhode Island. We skipped breakfast at the hotel so we could have some Johnny Cakes, typical cornmeal pancakes from Rhode Island.
The place is so cute, exactly what you expect from a diner!
Well, the Johnny Cakes did not disappoint. And the sausage, oh my, I wish I could eat them right now!
The breakfast menu is huge, but we knew what we wanted, so it took us 2 minutes to seat and order! You can take a look at the menu here.
When we read about Jigger's Diner people said to expect lines, but luckily there was a booth just waiting for us 🙂
Have you ever been to Jigger's Diner? How was it?
