Beijinho, which means little kiss, is another classic sweet treat from Brazil. They are similar to branquinhos, but with an extra ingredient…
Did you guess by the pictures what it is?
- 1 can condensed milk
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 tbsp desiccated coconut (plus more for covering the beijinhos)
- Place all ingredients in a sauce pan over medium heat.
- Stir until the mixture thickens (8-10 minutes). The mixture should be thick enough to show you the bottom of the pan when you scrape mixture with a wooden spoon.
- Let it cool completely.
- Grease your hands with butter and make little balls. Cover them with desiccated coconut and serve them in mini cupcake liners.
