Learn how to make this Quick and Easy Passion Fruit Mousse. It makes a great dessert for a hot summer day.
We don't remember when we made this Passion Fruit Mousse recipe for the first time, if it was created by us or if we adapted from somewhere. We just know that this passion fruit dessert is always a hit with friends and family!
I don't know if I could consider this a Brazilian recipe, but let me tell, it's very popular here!
😋 Why is this special?
First, it's very easy to make! If the expression quick and easy could only be used in one recipe, this would be the one! You basically just have to mix all ingredients, chill and serve. If your ingredients are already chilled you can serve this dessert right away!
Second, the flavor! This is not too sweet and the tartness of the passion fruit is great with the sweetened condensed milk. And the passion fruit concentrate juice is just like using the real fruit.
Third, the texture. This dessert is super light and silky, but if you use the pulp too, it will add a fantastic crunch to it!
📋 Ingredients
You can make this recipe with only 3 ingredients, but if you add 2 extra ingredients you'll take this dessert to another level!
Sweetened condensed milk, table cream (or heavy cream) and passion fruit concentrate juice are the key ingredients. You can't make this recipe without them. But if you make a syrup with sugar and passion fruit pulp, it will be AMAZING!
❗ Additional tips to make this recipe
- You can put all ingredients in the fridge a few hours before making the mousse, so you won't have to wait so long to eat it.
- If you don't know where to buy passion fruit concentrate juice, you can check Google for Brazilian grocery stores in your area or Amazon.com
- If you use heavy cream instead of table cream, you will have to whip it so it has a firmer consistency.

Trying to make this today but you don’t say how many ounces of heavy cream in place of the can of table cream. How many ounces is the can of table cream?
Andrea
Hi Lindy
Sorry for that. We are so used to using a can that I forgot to put the actual amounts.
I've updated the recipe.
Thanks for pointing that out!
