I just love apples! They are one of my favorite fruits! And they are versatile with many recipes, including sweet and savory dishes. And these buttered apples are so easy to make and delicious with some vanilla ice cream, the blondies recipe I just mentioned or even a quick crisp that you can make just by adding a mixture of some oats, a sprinkle of all-purpose flour, brown sugar and a little butter on top of the apples and baking in the oven for around 10 to 15 minutes.
Ingredients
- apples (pick your favorite)
- unsalted butter
- sugar
- ground cinnamon
How to make it
- Peel the apples, remove seeds, and cut them in wedges. In a skillet melt the butter, add the apples and let them cook a little, until they are light golden brown. Add sugar and cinnamon and leave for 2 more minutes.

- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tbsp sugar
- Ground cinnamon to taste optional
