How to make these Birthday Party Hot Dogs?
- You will start by making the tomato sauce. Chop one onion, fry it with a little olive oil and then add a bottle of passata/tomato purée, salt and pepper to taste.
- When the tomato sauce is ready add the sliced hot dog and let it simmer for a few minutes.
- Now you just have to put this mixture inside the buns.

Brazilian Style Birthday Party Hot Dogs
Servings 12 hot dogs
Ingredients
Tomato sauce
- 1 onion chopped
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 24 oz passata/tomato puree
- salt and pepper to taste
Other ingredients
- 6 hot dogs sliced
- 12 hot dog buns
Instructions
- Cook onion with olive oil for around 5 minutes. Add passata/tomato purée, salt and pepper to taste. Cook for 5 to 10 minutes.
- When the tomato sauce is ready add the sliced hot dog and let it simmer for a few minutes.
