This homemade Strawberry Jam Recipe is so delicious, quick and easy to make and you only need two ingredients to make it!
One of these days I wanted to make a Victoria Sponge and the recipe called for strawberry jam. Most recipes mentioned store-bought jam, but one talked about making your own jam. Luckily I had some strawberries at home and decided to come up with my own recipe!
Ingredients
To make this homemade straberry jam you only need:
- strawberries
- sugar
How to make it
- Place strawberries and sugar in a saucepan, turn on the heat and stir until sugar dissolves. With a fork, crush the strawberries a little, let it simmer for around 10 minutes, strirring a few times, remove from heat and let cool.
My husband, that only likes French jam (that's true), loved it, and asked me to repeat the batch soon!
One more thing, you can easily change the amount of jam you make, just keep the 2/1 ratio, and you can also use the same recipe for other berries.
