This Blueberry Mango Smoothie will be your next favorite smoothie! Simple and delicious.

Blueberry Mango Smoothie

I love classic smoothies like strawberry banana smoothie, but nowadays this is definitely my favorite smoothie! My daughter's too! And the combination is just perfect: blueberries, mango, plain yogurt and orange juice.

Sweet, citrus and kind of exotic, after all doesn't it look like a beverage from another planet?

📋 Ingredients

To make this blueberry mango smoothie recipe you will need the following ingredients (see recipe for amounts):

  • blueberries: I prefer using frozen blueberries, but they can be fresh
  • mango: just like the blueberries, it can be frozen or fresh
  • yogurt: you have to use plain yogurt but you can use any you like, regular, non fat, greek yogurt...
  • orange juice: fresh orange juice is always better
  • ice cubes: the recipe calls for 1 cup of ice cubes, but it will depend if your fruits are frozen or not (fresh fruits = more ice, frozen fruits = less ice)
  • sugar: if the mango is very sweet you may not even need sugar

🍳 How to make it

Smoothies in general are very easy to make, and this blueberry mango smoothie is no exception!

Combine the ingredients in a blender.

Blend at high speed until smooth.

Serve.

⌚ What time of day is the best to have smoothie?

I think smoothies are perfect for breakfast, an afternoon snack or even during lunchtime, served with a delicious sandwich or wrap.
