If you are traveling with kids, it's almost impossible to go to Paris without going to Disneyland! And even if you're not with kids it's so worth going! After giving you some general and useful information about Disneyland Paris, today's post is about Walt Disney Studios!
When we were planning our trip we decided to spend one day with Mickey and friends! And since we had only one day to visit two parks we had to plan well and leave home early.
We arrived before the parks opened and we were amazed by the crowd waiting for the parks to open, but as soon as people started to get in we realized there weren't that many people. We decided to start our day at Walt Disney Studios because this park closes earlier than Disneyland.
So, let's start our visit...
The entrance is like a big studio and that's where you will find stores and fast food restaurants.
We went straight to the Toy Story area. We rode Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop, which was a test to see if Isabella would handle The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. She didn't pass the test 🙁 Maybe next time...
Next ride? Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster! Isabella was very excited because it would be her first big roller coaster. Cast members checked her height and off we went! We were a little apprehensive because we had no idea if she would like it or not. If you have ridden this coaster you can imagine our fear 🙂
In the middle of the ride Luciano and Isabella had this conversation:
Luciano: Are you ok?
Isabella: Yes!
Luciano: Are you having fun?
Isabella: No!
But as soon as we left the ride....
Isabella: I wanna go again!
Luciano: But you said you didn't like it.
Isabella: But I loved it! Can we go again?
We said we could come back later because we were just in time to see Moteurs…Action! Stunt Show Spectacular! with a lot of car chases and a special appearance: Lightning McQueen. The cars are followed by cameras, as if a film was being made and then they show us the scenes they have just shot on a billboard television screen. A good thing is that the show is presented in French and English.
After that it was time to have lunch and take pictures with Pluto (Isabella's favorite character!)
We then went to Studio Tram Tour: Behind the Magic, with highlights such as a catastrophe canyon scene and a look into a set of London in ruins.
After that, we went to Crush’s Coaster, a ride that you can only find in Paris. It's a spinning roller coaster themed to the film Finding Nemo and named after Crush, the famous green sea turtle character from the film. Most of the ride is enclosed and in the dark! It was my favorite!
So at around 3:30pm we ended our visit to Walt Disney Studios.
Next stop: Disneyland Park!
