🥪 About this sandwich

The Barros Luco is a very simple sandwich - made with grilled beef strips and melted cheese inside two slices of toasted bread. And the name is in honor of Ramón Barros Luco, former president of Chile who was a client at Confitería Torres where he would always order this treat made especially for him.

📋 What are the ingredients?

For this recipe you'll only need a few ingredients:
  • beef strips
  • olive oil
  • mozzarela cheese
  • hamburger buns
  • salt and pepper

🍳 How to make

It couldn't be easier to make a Barros Luco Sandwich.

  • You'll start by seasoning the beef and sauteéing it with olive oil.
  • Meanwhile cut bread in half and toast a little.
  • The final step is to place beef and cheese on one slice of bread and top with the other slice.

Enjoy! Some French fries or potato chips on the side are perfect!

  • 10.5 oz beef strips
  • 1/2 tsp olive oil
  • 6 slices mozzarela cheese
  • 3 hamburger buns
  • Salt and pepper to taste
