Instructions
Pie Crust
Preheat the oven to 350ºF (180ºC). With the help of a mixer or food processor mix all ingredients until the dough is well combined (dough should look like wet sand).
Place dough in pie pan. Press it with your fingers onto the bottom and up to the sides (bottom should be around 1 inch-1/2cm thick). Line pie crust with parchment paper and fill with pie weights or dried beans.
Bake crust for around 10 minutes, remove pie weights/dried beans and parchment paper and bake for 5 more minutes. Remove from oven and let crust cool completely before adding filling.
Filling
Place all ingredients in a pan (except candies) and over medium heat stir until mixture thickens. Remove from heat, transfer to a glass bowl, cover with plastic wrap and let it cool completely before pouring filling to crust.
Assembling
Pour filling in pie crust and sprinkle with crushed candies. Place it in the fridge for 1 hour or in the freezer for 20 minutes allowing filling to firm. Be careful when unmolding.
