This Microwave Caramel Sauce recipe is easy, quick to make and tastes great!

Ingredients
1/2cupsugar
1tbspcorn syrup
1tbspwater
1tbspunsalted butter
1/4cupheavy cream
1/2tspvanilla extract
Pinchsalt
Instructions
In a microwave-safe bowl mix sugar, corn syrup and water. Heat it in the microwave for 2 minutes - until it reaches a dark yellow color.
Remove from microwave and add heavy cream, butter and vanilla extract. When you pour these ingredients the mixture will boil - be careful - and mix well. Add a pinch of salt and mix again.
Use immediately or keep it in the fridge for a few days.
If the caramel sauce thickens, heat it in the microwave for around 20 seconds.
Notes
Microwave ovens vary so be careful. The first time you make this recipe, heat it for 1 minute, take a look and add remaining time, if needed.
