When we were planning our trip to NYC we decided we wanted to spend some time in Brooklyn. But if you look at the map you will see that Brooklyn is huge so we decided to narrow our visit to Williamsburg and DUMBO.
We went to Williamsburg on a Saturday at around noon so we could have lunch at Smorgasburg. The streets were packed so we walked a little and then decided to focus our visit on the food market.
After a great meal we went on a ferry that took us to DUMBO. It was a great ride! Isabella just loved it, even with a cloudy and windy weather.
DUMBO means Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass and it’s full of restaurants, bakeries, stores and galleries. So cool!
And to end our visit in style we crossed the Brooklyn Bridge back to Manhattan!
On Monday morning we went back to Williamsburg to have breakfast at egg. Everything looked so different! Just a few people on the streets, stores starting to open, closed restaurants and small grocery stores that looked like we were in a small town!
Next time we go to NYC we will definitely spend more time in Brooklyn!
Have you even been there? Do you have tips to share with us?
