We love Disney! And even though we live far from all Disney parks around the world, we’ve managed to visit them 5 times since Isabella was born (3 times in Orlando, once in California and once in Paris ).
Here is our 10 favorites rides from all 4 parks in Orlando! I’ve included a video (not ours) from each ride because we love watching them at home!
Rock n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith: This roller coaster in the dark, located at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is Isabella’s favorite!
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror: Isabella and I were very terrified of going on this haunted “elevator” ride. But last time we visited Hollywood Studios we faced our fears and had a blast! It’s just amazing!
Big Thunder Mountain: We love this mild roller coaster at Magic Kingdom that takes place on a mine train. When the line is short, we keep on riding it 🙂
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train: The newest ride at Magic Kingdom is a race through the diamond mine from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. But because this attraction is very cool and new, expect loooong lines. So if you are able to get a fast pass, do it, even if the available time they give isn’t the best.
Mission: SPACE: This is another ride that we go as many times as possible. On Mission Space, located at Epcot, we experience authentic NASA-style training and a space launch on this shuttle simulator. There are 2 possible ways to ride it: a more intense training (Orange Team) and a less intense training (Green Team). Luciano and Isabella love being in the orange team, while I prefer a less intense experience.
Test Track: Also at Epcot, on this great ride we design a virtual concept vehicle and then go for the best part: The Test Drive!
Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain: This is our favorite ride at Animal Kingdom where we go through the Himalayan mountains on a speeding train while avoiding Yeti, the Abominable Snowman.
Space Mountain: This Magic Kingdom ride has been a personal favorite since I rode it for the first time back in 1987!
Star Tours: Even though we are not big Star Wars fans (but we do like it!) we think this ride is very cool. During the ride we interact with many of the characters and places from the Star Wars saga. One thing we just learnt last time we were there is that there are 56 story combinations so you can keep on riding it and you’ll always (probably) have a different experience!
Midway Mania: Located at Hollywood Studios, on this ride we climb aboard an early 20th-century-inspired Carnival Ride Tram and grab a spring-action shooter. With 3D glasses on, we glide into the Toy Story Midway Games Play Set and take aim at stationary and moving 3D objects in a variety of fast-paced games. It’s so much fun!
