Planning a trip to Santiago, Chile but don’t know what to do with your kids?
Here are some fun activities for kids (and adults) to enjoy.
This museum is a wonderful opportunity for kids to get to know about art through reproductions of famous artists.
We have been to the one in Vina del Mar and the one in Santiago is bigger, but the concept is the same.
It’s a great museum based on interactivity, entertaining education and learning by doing. It is an educational, interactive and playful museum, which invites visitors to live a unique experience with science, art and technology. Isabella loved it!
CERRO SAN CRISTOBAL
San Cristobal Hill offers a great view of the city and kids like to go there mainly for 2 reasons: to go up and down with the funicular and the zoo, our next great place in Santiago to visit with your family.
This zoo is not very big but it demands some stamina because it’s in the middle of the hill. When you go, you should take the funicular, stop at the zoo to visit it and then take the funicular again to go to Cerro San Cristóbal.
We felt in love with Parque Bicentenário, a park that was created in celebration of the Chilean bicentennial. It is located alongside Río Mapocho (Mapocho River) and it’s great for kids and adults. Adults can relax in chaise lounges and sun umbrellas and kids play in an amazing and modern playground.
